of course they are going to lift the cease fire. they know we can't sustain the surge so they will simply call it a "cease fire" until we can longer sustain the surge.

It's about time the United states and the Iraqi governments listen to what I have been saying all along. To give the Iraqi people a modicum of a chance to have a viable government in the future, three things that need to be accomplished:
1. Kill Saddam Hussein and his top leaders.
2. Destroy and collimate ALL private armies.
3. Privatize all industries in the country of Iraq, up to and especially the oil and gas industries.
Until all three of those things are accomplished there will never be peace and/or a functioning government.

But at least "the surge" is working. How is it not working. Even "The War is Lost" Murtha says it is working. I love it when you leftards cheer for the enemies of freedom and democracy. Admit it. You hope the war goes badly for the US and Iraqi people. That's sick man.

I guess you missed the re-Baathification deal they worked out. How about all the local Sunni and Shia groups that have joined forces to get rid of Al Qaeda.
