Bassman72, I would really like to talk to you about kiss tournys. I live in Timbercreek (south Amarillo). My boat is on the fritz at the moment and not sure when I can get around to getting it running. I was fishing with Golden Spread but decided to take the year off from the tourny seen. Well, after a few months off, I am starting to have those spring fishing withdrawls (hehe). I moved up here from the DFW area 3 years ago and am still learning the Panhandle and NM lakes. I will be honest with you, Ute kicks my tail end but for some reason, I have mastered Conchas like no bodies buisness. Cant figure out what I am doing wrong on Ute. Anyway, give me a call anytime after 6 pm at home. (806)622-2128. Look forward to hearing from you. Chugbug10

Hey chugbug10, I fish the Golden Spread. I was just wondering if I know you, esp. since you have MASTERED Conchas like nobodies business.

Thanks,
Tim H.

Tim, we probably know each other. When I say I have mastered it, I mean, my techniques that I used on some the lakes I consistantly fished in the DFW area works on Conchas too. The fishin is just different up here and I just can not get a good bite on Ute. Aside from the club tourny's I have been back to Conchas pleasure fishing and I learn something new everytime. Now that I have had time to slow down and try different things, the more consistent my fishing has become. Now if I can only get someone to show me what I am doing wrong on UTE, life will be good. (hehe)

Yes the bite is a little different. Most of the time, I throw small baits. 4in. worms, tubes, 1/4 oz. jigs.
