For what its worth. We went to Lake Charles last weekend and caught 15 reds and 4 trout. The reds were from 18 to 25 inches and the trout were 18 to 24inches. Using a Green Super Fluke with a 1/4 jig head under a poppin cork. Also on a Renagade lazer minnow in the green and brown ( looks like a mullet) you can find'em at Wally-World for $1.95.
