Smooth water, perfect temperature and lots of fish Hybrid/Sandies)everywhere. Unfortunately, not one to be caught, at least by us. Anyone else have a better report, there were lots of boats out.
I know there is a catfish tourn next weekend and I believe there is a bass tourn as well. I will be watching to see how the folks do in those. The water was 49 degrees. I'm wondering temperature should be when the action should gets better?

Well...I was working OT so I was not in one of those boats \:\(

You got the right idea on water temp -- I am beting around 55 degrees and it will be picking up. Just fish the warmest water in the afternoon time will give you your best chance of catching.

My report is about the same as yours 1robert. Marked fish at 25' to 40' on drops & deep humps, but lockjaw. Baitfish balls seemed to be consistently at 20' and below for the areas I checked on the main lake. Tried some deadsticked slabs and assasins at those depths, but nada.

Went S to mouth of Rocky Creek and there were alot of birds flying, but not working bait - but they looked ready for some action too. ;\) A degree or so warmer on the water temp. Went to the back of Richardson, but not much happening there either. Spent some time GPSing some structures and enjoying the nice weather.
