I knew it was too early but I had the itch to see the river. Here is the Nolan at flow of 34. As you can see it needs to be up to about 50 -60 to get good for Sand bass and Stripers. Another of the Nolan. My Sand Bass Buggy. Here's one form below the dam at Whitney. You can see we need some regular rain to get this going.
Those pics of the Nolan....Is that the spot on 933 right outside of Blum on the right as you're coming from 174?
There's also another access point to the Nolan on that same road if you keep heading towards Whitney. It's at a bridge at the bottom of a big hill, and you have to hike a little ways to get to the Nolan. The water's usually a little deeper there as it's closer to the lake/Brazos.
Are there any other access points besides these two?
