Man i did this @ Media yesterday and i cant get it off my mind 34 years of age you would think that i would slow down and take the precautions to make sure i was within the rules. I can understand that i might have forgot to cull one in the excitement of the day but i can believe that @ the ramp that i didnt catch that i had 6 before walking up to the weigh station.
To Kris {Team Skeeter boat}-- I am sure after you saw this it upset you-- cause we were thing the same gameplan all along we just happened to get there before you. So my apoligies to you I guess I wasted that honey hole for both of us.
I have a sickened feeling in my stomach and I am not bragging but i feel that I would have won that tourney if i I didnt screw up.

It only happens once, it won't happen again. I did the opposite and left 1 in the livewell. It costs me a top 10 and a small check. That 1 fish apparently went on the wrong side of the bag and back into the livewell. I always count now.
Even if you would have realized at the ramp you were already in violation of the rules! You are not suppose to have more than a limit in the boat except to cull. That is usally a polygraph question. Damm the luck! I just got to say it . Here is your sign!!!!!!

Had a guy get to the ramp once who only had four fish in the livewell, he decided some stole his fifth fish right out of his livewell. He was pretty mad about the whole thing.
One of my fellow club members fished a BFL Tournament on Red River and when he went to livewell to get his fish, he counted 6 so he disqualified himself before taking to weigh-in. He caught about 30 keepers and was culling all day.
ohhhhh, that had to hurt! Did'nt it just take over 3 lbs to win? You have learned a valuble lesson for sure. I also have learned form your mistake..lol Good luck next go around!
I feel your pain was 2 min late to a weigh-in in Oct my watch which had the correct time said I had 1 min to spare. Should have set it ahead 3 min to match the official time. The worst part was when the guy at check-in laughed and made a smart alec remark. What would be dumb is if you do it again take it and learn from your mistake I know I am.

well i will admit this i was fishing a wednesday evening tourney on hubbard a few years back and had trouble loading my boat in 35mph winds anyway i was walking to weigh in with the only five fish stringer for the tourney when the whistle blew i was ten feet from the weigh in line and was officially dqd from the tourney, that was my mistake the only one i ever made.i would have won and had big bass of that tourney.now if im running a little close i just put in on the bank and go to weigh in.
So you and your partner went to Carroll and can't count? I thought everyone that went to Carroll was perfect. Thanks for proving everyone wrong. Tough luck though.
O I was in the same tourney as you and was the 6th boat out. Needless to say you beat me to my spot that I pre fished in the warm water. So I fished deep points and it was tough. I finally went back to the creek you were fishing and watched you slay the fish. I was wondering why you got DQ'd, that bites! Sorry to hear about the bad luck because I gaurantee you had the winning bag.

O and SkeeterB, I was boat 5.After three boats ahead of me went to the back of the creek.I figured not enough room. Also went back later around 10 to see you still at the back of the creek. That was the warmest water I found on the lake. You may want to use culling rings next time.Easy to keep count of fish caught. Sorry for your mistake.I know that hurt.
we probly had that weight in 3. fish but it was all for not since me messed it up for ourselvies and sounds like we did for a few more people also. but you know what they say live and learn.
