I'd like to know too. I was gonna head out there this afternoon, but trolling motor batteries were shot - - let the water levels get way too low, dangit. Got em replaced and may head out tomorrow afternoon before the Stuper Bowl.

Speakin' of Benbrook, I have not fished there in awhile and wonder if there is a fee at all the entrances? I usually bank fish for hybrids and sandies late spring into summer but want to take my kayak out and try to fish for hybrids. The fight they put up from the bank is fun, but imagine from a kayak! Hope it takes me for a ride and not a swim!
I stunk it up today--I marked a ton and I mean a TON of fish--tried deadsticking plastics and slabs and even dropped shad--the only fish I caught was 1 yellow bass and that was in a cast net catching shad--the fish are stacking up they just aren't eating--Did see 2 guys in RS with a fat daddy blue cat.

Longhorn is still free but not the best area--no boat dock or anywhere to beach your boat plus the people that place seems to attract--Lets just say that I bought my annual pass for the marina--well worth it to know my stuff is safe.

How much was the annual pass? sounds like the way to go.
