I have two fishfinders and a paper graph, one a cheap pirahnamax with a 20 degree beam and one a nice Eagle unit with with a 60 degree beam, I have the paper graph mounted on the console and it still works perfectly for bottom contour but doesn't have accurate depth and no tempurature, I can't figure out where to mount the other two units, one is going on the TM and the other will go alongside the paper graph but I can't decide which one to put where.

I would think it depends on the type of fishing you do.

I fish alot of Hybrids, Sand Bass, & Crappie so I want to see alot and the best I can on the console. So I would put the 60 degree on the console, to see fish (Hybrids/Sand Bass) and to see and find Cover/Brush/Structure for Crappie.

I'd put the 20 degere on the TM/Bow. Normally up front I'm just trying to stay on top of the fish I've already found. Or if I'm fishing Crappie and brush piles or some kind structure normally I'm fishing vertical and I want to see the brush/cover/structure right under the boat (20 degree).

If you fish Bass and shallow most, then perhaps the 60 degree up front (or the best up front, if that is how you find the fish). If you use the Console mainly just to keep up with the depth (to not run a ground, I guess) then the 20 degree is good there).

But I think most folks put thier best on the console.
