The top 8 seeds in launching for the BPS BATTLE OF THE BASS CLUBS have been set.
Each Flight will have the same number of boats from every club. That will be talk about later at the meeting will have next month.

Casey, I am a little confused here. I know there is more than six clubs registered for the event as of now, how did the four that are listed come to be in those positions?

They have paid.

I have gotten 20 pm's over this.


BPS will not base there prizes and Gifts on unpaid entry's.

They will only let me go on what clubs have paid.

SO to get clubs to go ahead and pay, the first to do so get first launch in a flight.

Lets say the first flight each club has 2 boats in it, Coppell's two boats go first the Plano's the so on. it switches up in each flight.

I added Texas Trails Bassmasters to the list, in the # 6 seed.

I will have Firm numbers on how many teams each club is bringing soon.

Casey, what are your thoughts about number of boats per flight? Is it two per club like your example above? How much time between flights? Clubs that have many more boats than other clubs will there just kind of be a mass start of the last flight?

Are you thinking about trailering to any ramp like you do at RHBC events or everybody launching from one site?

I know you said all of this will be discussed at the meeting but am just kind of curious about what you are considering? Not trying to stir the water. Me and my son are in with Forney regardless of what is decided. Sounds like a great event.

No problem when clubs have gotten me a pretty solid number on teams it will be easier. We will put the most boats in a flight we can. Flights will go fast, Each flight will stagger a little but not much. Everyone will have to launch somewhere else and drive the boats over to check in. BPS will not let us use there ramp.

Now to the most important matter.
We have got to get you a TEXAS A&M FLAG.

Minimum 35 boats so far that's awesome!!!
RHBC needs that $1050.00 purse!!!

That makes 8 already.

Correction...We have 25 members signed up to fish. Not boats. We should end up with 13-14 boats.

Even with that number of boats, with the assumption that most other clubs will have close to, lets go out on a limb here and say 10 boats per club, that gets you at 80 boats. Not too bad.

The amazing part of that is, RHBC is only going to have 5 boats and that is all that will be needed to win this little shin dig.

Actually RHBC should be sporting about 10 boats as well. The tournament has now got the makings of a good event. Maybe a few more clubs will step up and join the fun. After all, this one is more so about bragging rights and having a good time with some friendly competition. The meet and greet afterwards should be a lot of fun as well.
