so anyone mind sharing any local ponds in the DFW area with a visiting california bass angler? I see alot of golf courses around the area but by the looks there is no fishing. I ask cause some of the local courses out here will let us fish on rainy days and early mornings.

Samuels Farm in Mesquite, just east of Dallas on Hwy. 80 between Beltline and Collins Roads. They don't open the gates till 9 a.m.

Spawn or post-spawn most likely. There are lots of good ponds around McKinney.

hey bubba... i got one for ya if ur gonna be in the Plano area... gimme a shout back... if cops come all you gotta do is leave... but man are there some fish! Good ol bass lives there! pushin tenlbs... my good buddy Adam hooked him last year and failed to get him outta the water....
