I am going to choke canyon feb 7 I never been there is there any places hotels motels any help would be great. I really dont want to camp unless I have to.

There are several hotels in Three Rivers - check online for those. There is also a new place out by the lake - I think it is called Choke Canyon lodge - a little more expensive. There is also Bass Inn - but I would not stay there. It has been run down for several years now.

You may have a problem finding a place as the Fishoff for the PAA Tournament is going on that weekend. Also, you can check out George West, TX for hotels. GW is about 10 miles south of Three Rivers.

Yeah, Three rivers is pretty much it. Or you could even stay up in Pleasanton. It's a little ways to drive, but not too bad.
