Had a Good Meeting tonight. Lots of Smack Talk and jokes. ALso

Came up with this:

We will have Divisions with 3 Teams per Division.
A Team is made of 3 Squads. A Squad is 2 Anglers
Cost is 50.00 per angler or 300 per Team.

You will fish against other squads in your division for points
a Win will be 3 Points a Tie will be 2 Points and a loss will be 1 Point. We will Fish for 4 Months with the First Tourney in June. We need to get the Teams organized so that we can get a good Idea of how many divisions there will be.
After the 4th Month the points will be totaled and the Team with the most points from each Division will go to the Championship. We will try to pick a lake that is central to all but Most will have to travel for the Championship. The Top 2 Teams at the Championship will split the money 60% for 1st and 40% for 2nd

We decided to allow 1 alternate that has to be named before the 1st Tourney.

Good stuff, guys! Congrats on a successful meeting. I will be watching things progress from out here and pulling for your success all the way (and wishing I was out there with you guys too!)

Yes and ties between teams in the same division at the end of the season will have a fish off.

If you cannot decide on a lake, each competing squad will put two lakes in a hat (if possible), and draw the lake (do not wait until the end of the month to do this). If you cannot get a time to do this, then get your lakes to Jody, or a neutral party and let them/him draw for you.

If you did not make the meeting, please get your team name along with all participants of your team (including your alternate,if known) and PM them to Jody.

WILL THERE BE A DIVISION IN THE AUSTIN AREA.

We would like to have an Austin area team. Do you know of 8 others in your area that want to do this?

If not, we have until May or so to get this thing going down there. If we stay on track, we can get one.

Is this going to be open to TFF 'rs only or are you letting in anyone that wants to fish?

I think it is open to all. BUT, they will need become a member in order to pm the guys they are fishing with and against.
