I have a question for you. My brother in law is over seas in the middle east and they take R and R trip off shore fishing but all they provide is bread that you roll up. He asked me to get him some plastics and a couple lures to use but I have know idea where to start? ANy suggestions would be appreciated? Thank you as always

Hm, might suggest some leadheads in various sizes (1/2oz, 3/4oz, 1oz, 1-1/2oz) and some different size/color (3" to 6", maybe just white) sassy shad bodies to go with them. Also some diamond jigs in a few sizes - 2oz through 8oz.

That's probably what I would pack if I could re-live my Desert Shield/Desert Storm days (spent about a month on a cargo vessel anchored offshore in 60'-80' of water).
