So a buddy and I are probably going to hit up the beach Thursday and Friday. While reading through my Texas Saltwater Journal, I noticed that the Solunar Table for these 2 days have NO STARS! Should we even go or is just a bunch of hogwash? I've never really payed too much attention to these tables and was wondering how accurate they are for saltwater fishin! Thanks.

Solunar Tables provide a couple of the many variables that go into catching fish. Barometric pressure and weather patterns also play a large part. Those stars just indicate optimum timing in tidal movement and the related effect of the moon's gravity pull. If that were all that was necessary to catch fish, your bathtub would be just as good a place to drop a line as any.

If you have an opportunity to go fishing ... GO! Fish don't read TSJ.
