The Shimano Chronarch The Quantum Tour Edition PT Burner The Abu Garica Revo STX which is the best reel? rowdyy Outdoorsman Registered: 07/09/04 Posts: 63 Loc: dallas	I like expensive reels as much as the next guy, but salt water is going to ruin whatever you get. If I were you, I'd consider a Curado. You may even be able to pick up one of the old green ones for less than $65.

Chronarch only if I couldn't get a deal on a Curado. My choice for heavy topwaters is the Green Curado CU200, with an upgraded drag and bearings. I'd get my hands on that new REVO INSHORE, it's a pure BEAST! 20+ pounds of drag, deep spool, casts a mile. Shimano has nothing on it. Nothing! Well.. ok unless you compare the REVO to a TE but that's not a fair comparison. Oustide, the Chronarch your other choices suck. I mean that. $\:\)$ Inshore man! Inshore! The inshore was designed to be more corrosion resistant.
