Ladies, I hate to sound like a girly-girl (I'm not) but my hands are so dry after fishing all day in this cold weather.

I would love to use hand lotion but I am concerned about the grease and scent getting on my lures. I fish for LM bass.

Anyone have an odorless lotion they can recommend or some other tips?

Thanks

Mine get that way too. You can put lotion on the night before you go. Then AFTER you fish and get a shower, apply lotion liberally. I don't think there is a lotion with no scent.

kelkay, that's exactly how I do it. My hubby taught me years ago to shower, shave all that good stuff the night before. I even put on deodarant the night before. Absolutely no scent that morning before fishing. As soon as I get home though I hit the shower.

Ladies, I hope you don't mind my jumping in here, but I suffer from really dry skin, especially my hands, I'm talking cracking and bleeding. My wife gave me a tube of Nivea Hand lotion to try. I will have to say it works great. I use it every night, and when I go fishing, I use it as soon as I can at the end of the day. Works for me.

Me too. I hope you don't mind me jumpin in here. I have the same problem with my hands after fishing, especially when lipping a bunch of bass. My wife got me some moisture thearpy lotion for my hands and cracked heel cream for my feet (they get bad in the winter). It's inexpensive and works great.

I used Dead Down Wind Lotion (no sent) this past season while deer hunting. It worked pretty good for the dryness and it did not leave a greasy feeling. Haven't fished yet in 08 to try it out while fishing.

Curel (they sell a scentless kind) is amazing I've known people who their doctors prescribed it for eczema. And it's totally non greasy and they even make waterproof.

Years ago there was a wagon train moving West. They came upon a big sign that said "This way to the Promise Land". Those that could read followed it. Those who couldn't came to Texas.
