I know it's panther creek that comes in up near the end of
Hart/Walker, and cottonwood creek is the one that runs w. under
423, Witt. Now you've got ME wonderin'!

I'm just guessing but that may be the area by the LE Cemetary. I've heard that is a good spot for crappie in late winter-spring. Although I think that is more a channel than a creek. Or they could be talking about the portions of the lake that extend up past 380 but i've always heard that referred to as the Navo Creek but if you google little elm creek that is what came up.

I believe little Elm Creek is the same as Navo Creek. Which is located just north of the little elm boat ramp and runs under 380

It may be Navo creek, last spawn was a good one, the water is alot higher now, don't know about this year, last spring you could walk and even drive up and down the creek. wore em out under the bridge last spring. it's all under water now. when they get to spawning I'll be out just about every evening after work either at little elm park or off lakeshore, theres a little honey hole I found last year and bought some waders and sacked em up, I drive a green suburban with a tff sticker on the back, if you see me give me a holler.

I've made a mental note and will keep you in mind this spring...I have yet to get in to a good spot on the bank in LE.

I need to go out there to NAVO to see if I can do a renegade boat launch there. I put in at the ramp once, and it was a long dam way around to get back to 380. My next trip there, I plan on launching from 380.

i thought they no longer allowed access to that area...that is access to drive down beside bridge....my brother mentioned someone told him that just recently...
use to unload our (trailered) 14' V's off the bank before they raised the level after that unload off the side of bridge...
alot of nice crappie/sandies some big ones too..

There are no motorized vehicles sign at the 380 bridge. I kayaked out there last year on a freezing cold day and sure enough the warden was out to check my license. A bit surprised considering I was the only car and it was a cold day.

sorry to hear about that(sign).heck along ride from little elm.
learned alot about fishing in that creek. tagged along with my buddy whos boss and his buddies had fished it for years.
they would use 12-14' calcutta cane poles rigged with guides and a reel attached and slip bobbers. talk about sore arms. lol
couldnt hack it all day long so decided to try fly rods with underspins and that was good thing. sometimes they would pull up to the logjams or willow trees and wear them out. other times not so good.
learned to use my trolling motor and hit everything possible to to find where they where and werent.
would fish from 380 north and south as well.
that was some good fishing....
