Since deer season is over, I have been itching to go saltwater Bay fishing. But wanted to ask you guys if I will be wasting my time by going Bay fishing in early Feb. And which area would be better the Rockport or Galveston area for bay fishing. I would appreciate any comments. Those are the only two areas I really know.

If you go, fish really slowly. The big trout are around. I always catch my biggest trout of the year in feb...

you can always catch reds and troutskis if you fish right...jig heads and plastic exudes and this spinner lure thing called redfish magic...right now with the weather suckin it up you will want to wait a couple days after these cold front days let it get a lil warmer and work the bottom cause the fish will be huggin the bottom ...thanx and gig em
