Denton police arrested a 33-year-old man on a revocation warrant Tuesday and found a quantity of what they believe to be stolen property.
Robert Eastman also had an outstanding warrant for animal cruelty stemming from an allegation that he tied up a dog without food, water or shelter.
Eastman emerged as a suspect in a series of home burglaries in the area where he lives, said Sgt. Brad Curtis. Detectives following leads say they connected him to several home burglaries in eastern Denton about the time the revocation warrant was issued.
Curtis said he expects to obtain burglary arrest warrants as well.
Detectives seized a quantity of fishing gear, electric drills and a band saw, among other property believed to be stolen.
