Hi, Can anyone help me locate a private offshore fishing charter to accommodate 7 to 12 fisherman? All of the private charters I've found are for a maximum of 6 fisherman. Departures from Galveston or Freeport are ideal. If there are no such 7 - 12 fisherman charters, how about a nice offshore fishing party boat. I'm looking for an 8-12 hour fishing trip in early March 2008. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

There are a few private charter sportfishers in Texas that can charter above the normal 6 pack. Most of these charters limit the total number of fishermen to 10 or less.

Might try this site i know they are a party boat outfit but they would know more then me and they might have a private boat are something and they are in freeport texas.

Cougar, just thought you should know they - that is to say, Captain Elliott's - went out of business late last year.

I just checked Action's website, and evidently they have stopped running their smaller boat. For 4 years, 2003 thru 2006 I went out with a group of 8 to 12 on the smaller boat that Action operated.

We did not go out this year due to the price/the limits, and the amount of running time versus fishing time.

We always had a lot of fun, and the folks on the big boat always seemed to come back with a lot of fish.

You could get two private boats and have 6 on each boat..
