If this is possible..not sure if they are going to have more teams next year or not. I'm thinking about starting a team up...i missed Match Play this year and would like to get back into it.

If not, I wouldn't mind joining a team if a spot is open.

Kevin, stay on top of it. Be sure to help Chad keep everyone focused on it for next year as well!

Check one of Chad Kellner's post and click the link to the web page in his signature and you will find all the information about TFF Matchplay in there. The webpage linked in my signature is out of date (I need to remove that!). Hopefully Chad and the guys will make another go of it next year. Living out here in Georgia now makes it hard for me to coordinate this thing, and Chad has stepped up to the plate and done one HECKUVA great job this year!

As far as seein how it fits in your schedule, you will see that you control your own schedule. It's about negotiating lakes and setting up a mutually good time between your squad and the other squads you fish with each month, very flexible.

Anyone else? I wish I would've stayed in it last year. My dad and I were undefeated the first year, and hope to come back and keep it that way.

Come on guys!

Hey guys, I was just reading the rules for the teams and noticed at the bottom of the page the winner of the championship gets 2/3 of the monies collected. So from my readings I have two questions. First is what is the cost of the matches for the "squads" and secondly is there a list of persons wanting to build a team or teams who need members?

If I remember correctly it was $500.00 per team this last year... basically $50.00 per member was paid up front at the start of the year (collected by the team captains) and the team captains paid up for the year.

So there is no charge per match that team members have to cough up each month... just gas and side pots if you get into them.

If you want to start a team or join one just post up you are looking for a team to join.

Regards

Hey Kevin. Long time no talk. If you wanna start up a team lets do it. I know my Matchplay partner from last year is probably down. Either me and you could fish as a team, or me and him and you could partner up w/ your dad or whoever. Call me up 8179022322 or hit me up on MySpace.

I'm not sure if I'm gonna have enough time anymore. I would love to, but I'm not sure it'll be possible for me. I'm gonna be fishing 3 trails, plus school. If I think I have enough time, I'll let you know.

Hey Kevin we probably will not start the T's until July.
Most of the trails are done by then and just the championship is left and these T's are a great way to pre-fish and have another boat pre-fish for you as well......

Bob,

Mike probably will but I guess he will be partnered with ZX225(Radio).

I would consider it but would need to hook up with a new partner.

Alright, I decided I'm going to start a team since the matches aren't starting until later this year. I need 2 squads...my dad will be fishing with me since we were undefeated the first season \:\) And trust me, I plan on continuing that trend.
