Does anyone have any suggestions on what color lenses are best for bays and offshore in the corpus and port a area?

it really depends on a lot of factors, i actually carry a set of glasses that has different colors for different light and water conditions. the ones i use the most though are the Amber lenses.

my favorite glasses on the water are Oakleys with Amber lenses(polarized)

I use green and copper for inshore fishing.

Offshore - Blue


I like my costa Del Mar's with the 580 lense. Pretty much the best of the best, but I have never owned Maui Jim's either...

Costa's with a glass lense definately have a little advantage. They cost a lot more than other said glasses, especially if you are sponsored by a sunglass company...

glass lense Costas hands down. Best polarized lense on the market that I have ever used. At $139 pretty dang reasonable I think.

Costas with amber are my favs...also like the green but amber is most versatile to me
