The original is, but they are branching out. That's usually trouble. Same with Tommies. The original is closed, but I think the one on Lackland Rd. is still open.

Is that the place Tommy's was in for a short time many years ago? Lakeview Marina is a little further North off of Peden Rd they do have great burgers and friendly folks running the place as well.

Nut Kincaids is ok, but in my opinion has always been over rated. Same with Massey's and their chicken fried steak.

Nut They now have a store in Southlake across Kimball from Lowes. Not the same as the original store on camp Bowie. They are good burgers but, pricey.

I remember that as well, Bob. The ramp was right at the end of the restaurant. Excellent place for a ramp for burger lovers - Is Star Cafe still going in Cowtown? They use to have a great burger.

remember an old time place in downtown Fort Worth @ 1st & Main may have been called Greeks or Hamburgers walk up place man it was good I believe it was called Famous Hamburgers. Walked up to a window and ordered? Old greek guy and his son-in-law ran the place. That was the best burger ever! No special orders. You get it their way or no way!

that was it Nascar absolutely best hamburger ever. how can you make one like that ? i was a little kid, but it still stands out Yes! The best!!! And if I knew how to make those, I would be a rich man!!! How about Beef Burger of Belknap? You ever try that place? It was good too. The other great place was the Town and Country drug store on Grapevine Hwy. Used to eat lunch there several times a week when I was in high school.

no my Dad would take me to "Famous Hamburgers" when i went to work with him. what a treat I hear ya... My uncle used to work downtown and we I would go with my cousins to visit him now and again at lunch. Guess where we ate??? I used to work for the International truck dealer there on 35 just outta high school. I was a parts delivery driver. I found all of the good burger joints around, but that one and the drug store had the bestest burgers!
