Does anyone have any info on Little Elm marina? Just moved into a new slip and have never fished in the area. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Let me rephrase that. It's actually Cottonwood Creek Marina. Like I said, I'm new to the area.

Loc: fishin Texas... are you?
What info are you needing?
Fishing is good in most of the slips for LMB and crappie.
Sandbass will be real good soon.

Tell Jennifer and Frank I said "hi".

Chief, I put in at the public ramp there in LE a lot. I run over there sometimes. That cove that goes back East past the marina can also be good. There is a flooded road back there. If you can find it, fish it. Lots of fish hold up around there, although I have never had a lot of size.

Thanks for the info. I'll give it a try once this weather passes. I would have never known there was a road back there. Thanks again.

I think the 'road' is actually the old Lewisville bridge that was destroyed when the new lake was formed. When the water was real low you could easily see it and walk out aways from the south side to fish it.

I think some of the maps show it. You might Google and find it. I would pinpoint it for you but my maps are in my boat, the boat is under a cover, and it is outside. Maybe ask on the bank fishing forum - they'll probably point you right to it.

It is actually the old 720 bridge that used to get you in and out of LE. Fished off of it many times when I was a kid. Lots of silt under it now making it very shallow. I used to be a partner on a slip in the marina and we cleaned up on crappie, sandbass, and LMB.
