Rev TCF, meant to stop by and say howdy but ended up missing you all. Spent a good while trying to catch a Trout on the fly, was near sunset when I caught a Rainbow on a GRHEN.

Another quick trip to Bethany this afternoon... three little Bass, else no Bruisers. Today's Pictures.

Fished the Comal River at Landa Park.... Caught a Bruiser "Cichlid" (not sure what it was?) on a BH Antron Streamer! Caught other fish but they were not as big. Today's Pictures/Video.

Tested out a new fly that we read about in Southwest Flyfishing magazine.... called the Guadalupana. Caught one Bass on it at Bethany this afternoon. Looks promising! Will need to try it out on Trout in the next few weeks. Today's Pictures.

Got a deal on a 3wt flyrod/reel combo from Cabelas. Tested it out at Bethany; caught three fish! Like the lighter weight rod. Today's Pictures

Went back to Bethany for a quick trip using the Three Weight from Cabelas. Fished sloooooooooow.... Caught two Bass but lost four others. One was a Bruiser. All struck with barely a hint of bite. Today's Pictures.

Rain put a slight delay in the fishing activity but did go this morning. Sun was out but a Norther blew in to make things much colder. Fished Bethany for about 30" and was able to catch four little Bass before calling the trip short due to numb hands. Forgot the gloves.... Today's Pictures.

Have not been posting but have been fishing. Mainly quick trips catching little fish using Streamers under a Strike Indicator at Bethany. No Bruisers, still good to get out and fish! No worries,... Haven't fished in a couple of days, hoping to change that tomorrow. Will be at Bethany Lakes for a little while, if I'm not doing well, I may go to my favorite pond.

Went this morning but had a late start from work, and then called the outing short due to other committments. Came back the afernoon.... Managed only one Rainbow Trout at Bethany.Today's Picture.

I was not able to make it fishing at all on Saturday. I did manage to get out on Sunday for a few hours to try and catch some bass. I started at the Village with my wife around 1pm. Fished for about an hour, then left. Couldn't catch anything between the both of us. Dropped the wife off and went to bethany lakes and fished the 3rd pond. Started down by the rail and cement wall where the creek starts. The water was clear. The clearest that I've seen in a very long time. I could see at least 5ft down. I could see bunch of bass but I couldn't seem to connect up on any of them. I finally connected with one small bass on a shad colored grub. I stopped at 4:55pm. I was cold and my hands were not functioning well anymore lol

My wife and I went out today to bethany lakes around 2:30pm today while the weather was still holding and it was warmer. We were only there for about an hour before we were so wet we called it quits. It wasn't raining but it was a steady drizzle. My wife caught a bass about 1 pound on a black plastic worm. I had several strikes but no hookups on weighted grub baits. I'm hoping the rain stays away until late in the day tomorrow so I can make it back out there.

I didn't recognize any of those ponds. Where are they located? If you don't want to say in open discussion you can PM me. I have a few spots that I'm sure you and your friends would like to know about.
