Yes. Went to Denison and could only get the stripers to hit small lures. Ended up catching over a dozen 12"-17" stripers throwing a 1/16 oz. roadrunner on ultralite. Fun! It kind of sucks braving the cold without any decent sized fish to show for it, but I figure it was better than staying home. First time I've been to the dam when the water was being released and there was only 1 other person fishing the TX side!

I waited for it to warm up a bit before heading to the creek but got skunked (fly rod) I should have at least verified with spinning gear but I was dead set on finding and catching whitebass with the fly... I often have trouble finding fish under these conditions, cold, clear and the moon coming full...

I was thinking the same thing and chickened out. I hate the cold.

I fished this afternoon and had the best day in a while, 5 best fish went 22 lbs. All were caught on cranks. The biggest fish weighed 5.3, 5, 4.7, 4.2, 3.2. The biggest fish of the day was a 6-7 lb cat. Flopped off while I was waiting for my buddy to walk over with the scale.

I took my three son's fishing for the stocked rainbow trout in Tom Bass lake. We all limited out. Froze our butts but had a blast.
