In the fall of this year I'll be taking a group of guys down to Port Aransas for some offshore fishing. We'll be using Dolphin Docks and I was curious if anyone has gone out with them before and how was the experience? Thanks!!

THe dolphin docks can be really good if you go on the right trip. The 60 and 80 hr trips they do are great.
I have been on some shorter trips with them and it amounted to snapper fishing...

I went out with them looking for sharks in 2004 on Valentines day,(snowed the day before) and had about 40 sharks. I myself caught 3 and my g-friend caught 4. It was cold, but had a good time. Yes kinda slow moving boat. Depends on which one you go out on.
