must not be to many people fishing saltwater, i dont see many posts what happened to you guys, when those cold fronts hit and the fish hold up in deeper holes, seems it would be a lot easier to catch a limit
It hasn't been that cold at the coast yet. fish are still all over the bays. Jacks pocket has been on fire lately and that whole area is less than 3' deep except a few spots.

I am making links and webpages right now to the 1 million questions we are going to get come March thru summer about what's works best, which lure, which line, what bait, which setup, where to go, how much, etc etc etc.
About the only thing being caught now on the beachfront is small whiting . Be about 3 rd week of march then we will get some drum and redfish on the beachfront . TOOOOOOOOOOO DAM COLD TO FISH

There have been large trout being caught and released in East Matagorda. I heard that a 30 inch was released just the other day. If you are thinking about going after the big girls be sure to get your waders out because these girls are holding over mud and you have to wade them up. I was busy with the boat show and as soon as I get my prop fixed I will be ready to hit the water again. I will post up reports. Winter fishing rocks if you have the right gear.
