Not to screw up your thread Robert, but can you guys tell me a good ramp to use on Benbrook if I am coming from Keller. I guess this would be considered the Northeast side of the lake. Prefer one with a dock since I am by myself often.

Kmoran. the ramp is okay, it's the driveway thats bumpy. I spoke to Denny (new owner) about it. He says they plan a complete redo of the lot, etc. but will be next spring. They have to remove about four inches of level to do it right and the marina will be closed for about two weeks to complete it. In the meantime the ramp works fine.
My boat is in a slip there, but I have had it out of the water a couple times in the last two weeks. Ramp works fine and it does have a dock. Costs $5.00 I think.

TXwidowmaker. Your best option will be the Marina. Longhorn park is more east, but no dock and your truck is exposed to anyone while your fishing.

yeah i have a benbrook park pass. i like the marina though, just feel safer leaving the truck there. it is 5.00 unless they raised it. its just a little bumpy there, i did hear through the forums that they are planning on redoing the driveway. i just didnt know if they had yet.

the marina is accessed off of 377 just south of benbrook.

Benbrook is all COE, you need a COE pass for day accesss to the parks.

State Parks Pass is TPWD and only good a state parks.

Different color of money. Like trying to spend Pesos in Texas.

Make sure the state park pass is in your name. Went to cleburne state park with yearly pass. But my wife bought it in her name. They would not accept it.Had to pay even though had the yearly pass. Wont happen again to me.
