Just wanting to see if anyone has been out to Bastrop recently and if the discharge is back on? Was fishing good?

Was on the lake, and in the lake a couple of weeks ago, at the time the fishing was fair. Most bites came on a green pumpkin carolina-rigged sweet beaver in 12ft of water at the north end of the rip-rap. The key seemed to be water depth, and pulling through the submerged grass. If the depth was less than or more than 12ft the fish didn't bite. The water temp at the time was 64 degrees, though it felt a lot colder.

Forgot to add, that the day I was out on the water that LCRA was not generating so there was no current in the discharge.

fished bastrop sunday and caught about 20 or so with 1/2 traps..silver or red. biggest fish was only around 3lbs. a normal day there for me is 30 to 40 with several over 3lbs...alot of boats on the water.(small tourny) and very little wind or clouds. no current in the discharge but with this cooler weather maybe they will generate soon. awesome little lake!!
