I'll be in Corpus for a week on friday. What's biting in the surf at Padre or the Packard Channel? We're catching Pomp and reds right now in Pensacola

Well seeing I got no response I guess the shore fishing bite isn't happening here.

Usually slows down in the winter. Cold fronts tend to move em off the flats. Trout and Reds can be had but a lot of fisherman target Black Drum (Big uglies), and Sheepshead this time of year.

Here's the latest from the Caller Times.

And some suggestions on fishing the conditions.

Good luck.
