North Padre - South Padre Island.
Sharks here, outside the sandbar shark, hate the cold and they leave as soon as the water starts to drop into the 60's.
Now sandbar sharks can still be caught in water with temps in the high 50's but it is not very common.
Late Feb and early March is when the water hits the 60's again then the sandbar sharks come back through the coast. April and on the blacks, bulls, sharpnose, and spinners start to return. In May it's on like Donkey Kong! By December most of these warm water sharks leave and the sandbar's cruise the coast again just before winter sets in.
