That was a plane at Logan in Boston. Most people don't fish that area because of the plane noise, big mistake on their part. The sonar readings look like a tin roof with hills and valleys. I flew home 4 hrs. after that pic.
I lost the first fish that was in the 30 lb. class, It jumped and I've never seen a striper jump before.

 Caught on 30lb test 40 miles offshore on a 5 oz pink snapper slapper. To bad Texas only recognizes all tackle and not line class for offshore species. I had a hardcore sharker offer me $20 for the head (minus the throat, the best part of any big saltwater fish!). I took it. that is a huge AJ. wow, ive never seen one that big.
