Went to belton w/wife she didn't do well but i got my LARGEST SMALLMOUTH EVER !!! 41/2 lbs also 3 largemouth 4,3,and a 23/4 all off the boat ramps w/crawdad rattletrap Very nice out there today tryed the slab thing for H@W with no luck maybe next trip.
Big ones like that are unusual.Normally I catch a lot of smaller fish.I did have one day where I had the opportunity to catch 12+ on 4 fish,all smallies.I missed one,but the other three were 3+ each.I also caught five spots that went about a pound each.Only had one day like that though.
