Ok, I like to get a half slab of bacon and slice into 1/2" thick peices and then grill it up like steaks. I thought I was unhealthy until I saw this... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZfbTO0GlONUI need to try it.

Bacon and potatoes are probably the only two foods I could eat every day. Now I have a new way to eat bacon..

I'm out also, but I will be trying this weekend! I'm no good on the white gravy thing though and the wife will be outta town. On the white gravy thing: After you fry whatever you fried, just leave enough fat on the bottom of the skillet to wet the bottom. Then, sprinkle some all purpose flour over the grease. Not much just enough to kind of make a paste. Then hit with some milk. Where most people mess up, is adding the milk. You add a little bit at a time at low heat until the thickness is right. It will always thicken up later anyway. Oh yeah and after you fry your bacon, let your skillet cool a bit before trying to make your gravy. Then bring the heat up slowly while you are working on your gravy mixture. Season, season, season the gravy. Good cracked pepper and salt. I also add some seasoning salt. It adds a little something extra. If you don't season a gravy well, you might as well be eating dry-wall paste.

Now that there is a gravy recipe, Weebs.
We like to make a rou from bacon grease , flour and salt, pepper, onion salt, etc. and put it in an old coffee can.
Get a small stewer of milk and over low heat, spoon in the rou until you've got the thickness you want.
All you Fayette fishermen - Snook is about an hour away. lol

Nut Gravy is a bit of an art but you just have to cook it on low heat and take your time to get the right thickness. I can make a meal of gravy and white bread. And I have..
