2008 has started off with a blast. I joined David Crews ( guide service) and Micheal Ryno (www.txcatfish.com) & Ian for a day of fishing on Calaveras. We had a good time with too many lies and tall stories told and somehow ended the day with 75 fish of channels and blues. Had great time and my side still hurts....looking forward to Choke fellas.Thanks again

1/11 Calaveras
Had the pleasure of fishing with Tom Dewey friday. Got in on some action my self for a fish fry! Ended the day with 45 fish, fishin' shallow. Always a blast with Tommie and sunset was bute! Thanks Tommie


Saturday...1/12
Fished a make up day from last weekend with the Smith's of Floresville,Tx. Albert , Kate, and Del.
Had to be off the water by 1130 but still managed 67 fish for our efforts and had the bite goin' on. I was super happy to be able to redeem the trip with out the high winds.
Alot of fun seeing Katie and company reeling them fish!

Good foreshadowing! Glad it started off right! Trying to acquire a partner to go with me to Canyon in the morning, but everyone is already getting 3 sheets to the wind. I'm getting those "drunk" commitments! I've got a few flash cards, so I can record a lot of information. I'll let you know how the trip goes if I can get a definate partner tomorrow.

I hope all our Fishing trips will turn out as fun as this one, I've never been guided by TWO pro fishing guides before, LOL. I'm still cleaning the BS out of the boat.

Sunday -Calaveras 1/13
Ruben and Kevin Guerra (ruben's b day)
Fished with Ruben and son Kevin this morning. Had a blast watching the father son team reel those kitties in. Fished from 830-1130 ending with 50 fish limit and some frsh fish for Ruben's B day fry.
