We used to hit up Pancho's in Hurst in high school before football games. Them were the good ole days.... When we moved back to Texas from Indiana I told my wife all about Pancho's and took her to one in Texarkana, wasn't as good as I remember it in high school ;\) Are there even any Pancho's any more? They are all gone in Central Texas.

The one in Hurst was off of Precint Line Rd or something wasn't it? In a shopping center several miles east of the old K-Mart on 820? I don't think that one is there anymore. Been to that one many a time in my younger days.

The one that Bradley talks about should be the one on Airport Frwy and 157. They are showing the one in the old Richland Plaza, but I don't remember seeing it last time I drove past there.

They are showing one in San Antonio and a couple around Houston.

Panchos is hit and miss on the quaility. The one on Hwy 80 sucks, but the one on Old Granbury Rd and I-20 is pretty good.

Panchos isn't what I would call great Mexican food, but for the price, you can sure get a nice variety of choices and all you can eat is a bonus too, including sopapillas (sp). The one on Hwy 183 and 157 in Euless is still there. We stop by once or twice a year.

3 forks is overrated. I was there last Sat. and I am convinced that the lobster bisque gave me food poisoning. The steak was good, but I have had better. The place is just too pretentious. I don't think I will ever go back. If I do, I will not have the bisque.
I would rather eat at Fogo De Chao or maybe one of the upper tier, but not top tier steak places. I don't need all the production; I just want to eat.

Just found out from my bro that there is a Fogo De Chao here in Austin, is it similar to Tejas De Brazil?

the brazilian steakhouses are good, but good lord how much meat can one person eat. The salad bar is incredible but you are full by the time the entree comes. The meat is good but it ain't aged prime beef baby. it is also expensive. at least as much as a regular highend steakhouse. 100.00 a head.
Give me del friscos in ft worth everytime. I have never had a bad meal there and the service is better than good. Everytime somone tells me someplace else is better it never seems to be.
Give me a big steak that is cooked to order for me and not cut off a stick.

Is Traildust still around up there? We went there a couple times back in the 80's & 90's when I was a kid. I remember my dad met us there after work and they cut his tie off and stapled it to the wall. Surprised the heck out of everyone when they did it. I haven't been to Traildust since the early 90's, I think I heard that it caught fire sometime back, but I could be wrong.
