Can I upgrade my old Navionics chip to the new 08 version in my old Lowrance 332C? I have heard that the 332C would not work with the new chips does anyone know if this is true?

I had to install the latest update to get mine to read the '07 chip last year. Hope it's that simple with the '08.

The 08 chip works fine in both of my 332c's. I'm running update version 1.9.

you need to go buy the 2008 SD chip. then you send the rebate form and the chip in to NAvionics and wait for the rebate check.
