I have been on our local Volunteer Fire Dept. here for almost 13 years. After Sept. 11, 2001 I felt compelled to write this little poem. Thought I would share it with you and hope you enjoy it.

Very good. My son just became a Firemen last Jan. in Mesquite. He works there along with one of my best friends, a Captain, who almost paid the ulimate sacrifice a year ago Aug. I say a prayer daily for him and the other Firemen.
