You know thinking about this.

Having a woman pro bass fisher person for a girlfriend would be AWESOME!!!
i could finally learn how to catch fish. \:\)

and a woman that aint afraid to go fast in a boat. how cool would that be.

steve.

p.s. i actually prefer to sit in the back of the boat and just fish, no more worrying about running the trolling motor and all that other stuff. trully would be cool.

Maybe we should get JP to start a singles fishing section. Of course, that is sort of an invitation for disaster...

Disaster is an understatement...I have a feeling the OT section would be too tempted. But you folks have fun down here and , there are some LOVELY ladies on here as well as a FEW stand up guys as well!!

Fish are like 2 year olds...they're always getting in to something. I love it, though. It's a good place to be.

Yeah, the OT is good entertainment when I'm bored. You guys are funny.

Steve, I like your way of thinking about the age difference. I have a good fishing friend that's 50 and it doesn't bother him. I've had guys 5 yrs younger that have a hard time keeping up with me, especially on the dance floor. I never thought of this site as a singles net either...pretty cool!! Especially if it works. I have been married once (to a man 7 years younger than me), but divorced many years ago. I also dated a guy seriously about 4 years ago who was about 8 years younger than me. So I don't have a problem with that. I think a ten year age difference is not a big deal either way.
I love to fish. My kids don't always want to go when I do. I will go alone if necessary. But when the fishing is slow it is nice to have others to talk to. Sometimes I just want quiet though. When you have teens you know what I mean. LOL. If anyone on here does bank fishing and would like a friend to fish with sometime, let me know. Sometimes I will go out of my area to fish. I will be going to the Atlanta area soon. I will be fishing with my brother though there. I also will be going to the Denison area to fish very soon.

i hear that. well said there kelkay.

i fish off my neighbors boat dock more than i do from my boat.

have caught one over 10 there, and lot's in the 5+ range.

sometimes it's much nicer to fish on the dock than fight the wind on a boat.

Steve I haven't had the opportunity to fish off of a boat since I was a kid. I wouldn't know how to act. I would love to get a boat someday soon. That way I can load up whenever I feel like it. I remember going to Arkansas River once as a kid fishing. It was on a boat, and we did a lot of trolling. I had a GREAT TIME. I don't like to fish on the bank in summer when it is HOT. To me hot is 90 and up. I prefer cooler weather. If I do fish in the summer heat, it is usually at night.

LOL, that's why i like to fish off my neighbors dock in the summer. if it's too hot i get in the shade. his dock is covered, mine is not.
plus, if the fish aren't biting or it's too hot, i take my happy butt back inside in the a/c. \:\)

A few days ago I would have given you guys my wife's phone number. She loved to fish when we first met. I do not know if the change happened beacause of the kids or what. I think that she still likes to fish but wants to do other things too. I could fish everyday. That is one reason we almost divorced. When I was single I used to meet some single fisherwoman on the boat ramps every once in a while. Sometimes I would meet some that just wanted to go out and play. I used to know a young fisher lady whose dad once owned a place at Sun Eagle Bay but I lost track of her.

If I was single I would have already jumped. But, will certainly keep you in mind and looking for ya'll. You know the Hunting and Fishing show is at Arlington Convention Center this weekend. Maybe a good place to meet singles.

I would like to go to the Arlington show. But I have spent plenty of money on fishing stuff lately. I am thinking of going to the Denison Dam tomorrow anyway. Never been there...here plenty of good stories about it.

If any of you do make it to the Arlington Tackle/Boat Show, stop by the Arlington Bass Club booth. First time the club has done this and everyone is pretty excited. Would love to meet you.

ill tell you what, im 65, and keep kidding my self about being able to do what i want, when i want, and how i want, luckly i have a good son close and a daughter with great grandkids to talk to, but theres nothing to compare to a good womans touch or her fussing over you during good or bad times.the older i get the more i reilize what i missed by not being a better husban, to bad you cant pass that on to the young ones, i guess everyone has got to make there own mistakes.so ill probley go clean the boat, maybe call a friend and go fishing when where and how i want, but its not as much fun any more not comeing home to someone telling you, your late, you smell bad , how much did you spend, and put those dirty shirts and pants in the hamper, you know i realy miss that, so i guess the moral to my little story is you dont know what you miss untill you lose it, and if she was a fishing partner it would be that much better, how sweet it could be
