LLELA...Lewisville Lake Environmental Learning Area.

Emma...Emma Long Metropolitan Park on Lake Austin. One of the best places to fish in Texas

Ghostie...a small pond that Smile-n-Nod found that has produced some awesome fish. Oh, and this is just a name for the pond, as we like to protect some swims from people that may do harm to it.

how do you get your corn to stay still in lake austin? When i was there there were so many wake boats we could hardly drive around to fish.

Ah, it is a never ending battle, especially in the summer.

Most of us fish leads of 3 oz or greater to keep our bait where we want it. There are also ways to weight down the line close to shore to reduce the chances of getting cut off by a boat, but it always seems to happen in the summer. It's amazing to me how many people look at our rods and go as close as they can toward the bank. I bet those wakeboarders don't like it when they get caught up in 50 lb power pro!

For those of you who have never been to Emma, you really have to go. It just can't be explained.
