i used to keep my .40s&w loaded next to my bed, and my .357 loaded in my kitchen cabinet. my daughter is now old enough to get into everything, so i had to lock them up. i felt vulnerable, so now i keep my martin compound bow set at 80lbs, a quiver full of muzzys, next to my bed and i got a night site on it. i dont think she can pull it back, so im good.

Man thats horrible stuff.

I had a real good friend of mine blow his brains out on Christmas day some 14 years ago over some stupid trashy girl. I never felt sorry for him one single bit. When it's on accident however thats a real hard thing to deal with.

And I agree completely with taking the kiddos fishing.

Greg, we've never met, but, Patrick's younger sister is one of my stepdaughter's best friends. I feel awfully sorry for the family.
