Ok i have the famous 99 225 ficht ram injection with a bad cyl. I need a shop to run a test on the computer to see why it did it before i have power head rebuilt. Thanks

I wish it was that easy but the computor really dont tell you what caused the problem unless it set a hard code like a bad injector or if it ran hot or a oil injection failure and if you had a hard code set it would have let you know before it blew the hole with a warning horn. If there are no codes or any obvious problems most of the time the engine needs to be tore down and inspected for reasons for failure. We are a OMC dealer and can take a look at it if you are interested....OPTI

I can tell you from personal experience. Have it torn down!! by a pro!
i thought i had an easy fix with my pro-max. when it got torn down, we found the real problem.
that's the only way to figure out what happened.
