Went to Waxahachie on 12-30 hoping to find some Big blues...Nada. ended up marking fish in 35 feet deep and droppoed jugs in the howling wind and scored quickly on Dk blood on keeper channels. Wind picked up right when I found them. I battled as long as my 14 foot jon would take it and had to pick them up or I would have had an easy limit. Brought home 17 nice keepers.

Yeah, they are blues...I was rushing my post since the wifey was coming in the door and I didn't want her to think I had been reading fishing stuff all day instead of working. I got some work done and i got some reading in....LOL
That is a nice mess of catfish Mudshark, I need to get back out to Waxahachie myself and give it a try. It has been several months since I have been on that lake.
Any time you need a partner on one of those catfishing trips, I live in Wax and wouldn't mind paying for gas/bait
