I got two good books for Christmas:
"A Personal Stand: Observations and Opinions of a Freethinking Roughneck" by Trace Adkins....Another C/W singer who really gets it.

And
"If Democrats had Brains, They'd be Republicans"...By Ann Coulter

Good lighthearted Reading if you are a Conservative....

Nope, get yer facts straight. She pulled a gun on him, he told her to put the gun down before he put it where the sun never shined, at which point she put a bullet through both lungs and his heart, and someone upstairs was watchin out for him, as he survived....He didn't testify against her, so she got off, and he got a divorce.

Don't use that tone with me Power Ranger ;\) It was in question form, so you could respond by giving me the facts. SO, why did she pull the gun on him? SOunds like one psycho girl right there

But it wasn't Bolded or Capitalized SO IT WASN"T A "TONE".....
And to make a long story short, Trace did/does have a bit of a drinkin problem, and that might have contributed to his getting shot....That said, according to his calculations, there have been about 5 times that he should have woke up dead but cheated the grim reaper.

Sounds like he has some stories to tell for sure. Forgive me Ranger, Since I can't see or hear you, I viewed the direction of your typing as tone....my mistake.

Just another like thinking good ole boy....He makes some really good points. I can't say I agree with everything he says in the book, but then I don't march lock step with everything the current administration says either. That said, here is a guy that actually had a profession before he became a success in the C/W Music business. He was a roughneck for several years and a steamfitter as well, so he always had a trade to fall back on if it didn't work out. Anyway, like I said, it's good reading if you are of the conservative pursuasion.
