From the games already played, which teams would you say are playing the best? In no particular order:

Georgia, altho the level of their competition was suspect
USC
Oregon
Much Hated Misery

The way I see it, there are still games that should be played to decide the Mythical National Championship.
I think this is what should happen:
Winner of KU/Va Tech plays: GA
Winner of OU/WV plays: LSU/OSU Winner
USC Plays MIZZOU
Texas Plays Michigan

Winners Play winners, Winners of those games Play for National Championship.

Now we have mythical playoffs. Which by the way just makes for another foolish "mythical" debate.

And proves nothing in the realm of NCAAF.

The point is that the mythical attempt by the BCS to create a "Mythical National Championship" won't be decided until the last best teams play each other. You can make good arguments for the teams that have already won as to why they should be up there too. Here's my thought: 1/2 of the money goes to the graduating seniors, and 1/2 the money goes to the schools participating.....Just my way of giving something to the graduating seniors who will not be good enough to play in the NFL, but will be walking around like old men before they are 40.

Div 1-A NCAAF isn't a real sport, it's a video game. Teams battle their brains out, only to be told that a computer has determined that they will play in a bowl that won't mean squat. Meanwhile this same computer has determined that a team with the same record gets to play for the National Championship. It seems that this computer is an XBOX 360 with a couple of kids playing College Footbal 07 to determine who is 1,2,3,4,5,6.....

Yet another of the oh so many reasons why college basketball is a much better sport than is college football. That is both from the perspective of the competitor as well as the fan.

Why do you guys watch the bowl games anyway?? 9 games out of 10 will let you down..I was excited to watch the Cotton Bowl yesterday morning..I actually THOUGHT it would be a good game..Arkansas forgot to make the trip.
