I was in Pittsburgh Pa. for the holidays. The big stink was the city is going to put a 10% tax on every drink sold. This is suppose to bail out the public bus system because the managers blew it on them self.plus they are raising the fares too.

Years ago there was a wagon train moving West. They came upon a big sign that said "This way to the Promise Land". Those that could read followed it. Those who couldn't came to Texas.

Pittsburgers,
Either quit drinking or start driving, just don't drink AND drive.
This has been another excursion into the logic zone, brought to you by Icepick.

Hopefully these will soon be a viable solution to this problem

*sniffle* lakeguide, that's the most beautiful thing I ever saw ... I'd pay more taxes to have those installed at my local park.

Without state and federal here in Texas, your Crown and Water would be about a buck and a quarter.

Sin taxes are so EASY to pass. Just ask the alcohol and tobacco industry.

I just felt bad because it going to cost more for their drinks to cry into when the Steelers lose. By the way Texas pay 14% on their drinks its just built in.

Had me going on this one.

When I first read the title, I read "Tax on Dinks". As the best dink fisherman on this board you can imagine my outrage.
