Creek Fishin is ON!!

Been doing ok, lately. 8-10 here and there, and decided to try a different area this morning, and got into some real slabs! Left 'em Bitin!

something we agree on. Nice slabs. I fished Cedar Creek for 3 days straight. Beautiful weather for Dec fishing. What a nice way to spend ending the year.

Todays mess..01/02/2008

Just to back up what I said yesterday. Never Surrender. I walked into the woods this morning before daylite. Planning to get to my spot, sit down, remove the line left on my reel and replace it with some new line from the pouch on my fishing belt. I strip all the r line off my reel, and ball it up and put in the pouch that I have for just such a thing, and start to reach for the spool of line in the other pouch. No pouch. Well.. There I was, having already walked a mile and a half into the woods and at my new favorite spot and no line. What do ya do? Leave? No way! I pulled that bird nest out of that pouch, and began untanglin line. Maybe an hour later, I have every bit of that line on my reel, and was fishing.

Here are the results. Yesterday, on another forum, someone asked if those fish were all 10"..So today, I decided that if the fish I catch didn't have some pretty good shoulders, they would go back.

Man those are some nice crappie.

They look pretty good for 6 - 9 inch fish...
