I have no idea of an exact number but I would bet that I caught well over 1,000 white bass, probably 100 or so hybrids, 50+ yellow bass, channel cats would have to be in the 200-300 range, blue cats around 100 BUT 24 of those were over 20 pounds

, 1 flathead, crappie had to be in the 200-300 range, 50+ walleye, 50+ northerns, 2 muskies, 2 yellow perch, 50+ carp, 2 buffalo, 20 or so bluegill, probably the same for LMB.
I caught new PB's for crappie, carp, buffalo, blue cat, yellow perch, walleye, and hybrids.
All in all, a great year! I really doubt I'll ever have anything like it again. This will almost certainly be my last full year in Texas so my fishing will change. I'll have a private 5 acre lake in my back yard and several very small reservoirs handy to fish, with the largest being 281 acres. There is no way they'll have the numbers or sizes as Lake Tawakoni, Lake Fork, Lake Grapevine, Town Lake and Lady Bird Lake, which is where all of my fishing was done last year. (Lake of the Woods, too!) I'm already getting ready to change over from all of my heavy duty rods and reels to my fly-rods and ultra-lights.
Surprisingly, for me, the thing I am looking forward to most is fishing those small reservoirs for carp. Some of the lakes were built before I left home in 1979. I know there were carp in them then because I remember seeing dead ones. There might be some monsters. Just as likely that they'll be stacked with Joe Pool carp.
Y'all won't be getting rid of me totally. I'll still have daughters living in Plano, Lewisville and Austin. I may not fish the ATC this year but I will be back. (IS THERE AN ATC THIS YEAR? Separate post, I guess.) I would almost drive all the way down to do a Fish-in at Jason's, especially if I could arrange a day or 2 of LMB fishing with his dad!
