I havent really decided yet where I am going to fish new years.

I have to be at work at 8 a.m. on Tues, so no fishing for me.

Jason. Let me know if you are going local within 100 miles. I have to work Monday morn but I would like to set up to start at midnight.
Austin is too long a haul for as many miles as my car has on it.

Relic, I actually chose to work on Monday and Tuesday so I can bank those two holidays and use them later in the year.

I have permission from the misses. I'll be fishing the slips at Ray Hubbard. I'll be getting there around 3pm and staying all night. Whoever would like to come out is more than welcome.

Your bass rods will work much better in the slips than Euro rods.

well i talked to jason and he informed me that the fish are biting he just lost a 20lb carp in his net due to a barbless hook he was so mad but he also told me that another guy just last week caught a 30 iv never seen one but im sure there in there..

blanked @ White Rock, Had one good run, I lifted the rod and set the hook, the rod doubled over so I started reeling in and on my 2nd crank the fish got off. Getting ready to head over to Ghostie and see if I can change my luck
